A number of awards and prizes hang from this prized chef’s belt, and he uses them skillfully to create The Mercury’s fresh and intriguing menu. Dishes like the Pearl Couscous Carbonara and the Filet of Beef offer insight into Chef Ward’s appreciation for and mastery of classic cuisine, while others like the Forty-Eight Hour Braised Short Ribs and the Black Cod are tribute to his artful eye.

Part of the upscale Stoneleigh Hotel in uptown Dallas, Bolla compliments the grandeur of the hotel with its posh art deco design. The simple yet elegant prix-fixe menu offers a wide range of Italian inspired American cuisine, like the Rack of Lamb served with a celery root puree, cipollini onions, and covered in an espresso rub. Not only is the food, prepared by local chef David Bull, excellent but the atmosphere of both the restaurant and full bar is terrific for after work, meeting friends, or a romantic evening for two.
