There are many steak and chop houses in Dallas and plenty more throughout Texas, but few capture the spirit of Texas the way Dallas Chop House does. This restaurant is a functioning homage to the early years of Texas, more specifically the history of the cattle industry of cowboys. The décor and atmosphere is created using materials and decorations that have special ties to Texas, while still maintaining the refined aesthetic of a classic steakhouse. Unlike many chop houses, Chef Kenny Mills has crafted a menu that focuses on fresh ingredients – instead of grease or butter – to bring out the full flavor of the meat for the tastiest steak possible.
