Gui - Restaurant Review
Whether your taste buds are crying out for something new or your soul yearns for a remembered flavor, Gui Korean Japanese Bistro and Bar has created a menu that marries the most expressive qualities of each cuisine into one cohesive expression. Traditional Korean cooking techniques and Japan’s love of seafood combine to produce dishes like the Chirashi, a bowl of sushi rice topped with sliced assorted raw fish, and the Man-Doo, Korean-style dumplings stuffed with beef, tofu, and assorted vegetables. Hot and cold sake selections round out the meal, and work with other drinks to provide a truly happy hour out of any hour.

Lavendou
Address: 19009 Preston Rd., Dallas, TX 75252 (Map)
Bask in Lavendou’s warm and welcoming French countryside décor, and let yourself slip into the mindset of someone truly enjoying the moment. Rustic archways of exposed brick and lively tablecloth fabrics of blues and yellows help cement the feeling of being on holiday, and the southern French cuisine menu convinces the palate it is in another time zone. The Foie Gras En Terrine au Sauternes is a decadent expression of flavor, while the Grilled Tilapia Provencal speaks of seemingly effortless freshness. “High Tea” is also a daily event, and is another fine touch of French hospitality.
