Dallas Fish Market - Restaurant Review
Modern design, innovative, fresh dishes and an award-winning wine list define this prodigious restaurant centrally located in the historic Kirby Building of downtown Dallas. Executive Chef Randy Morgan deals with small seafood companies in order to assure the freshness and originality of his seafood dishes. His goal is to share his passion for and knowledge of seafood with Dallas locals and visitors alike. Enjoy modern sushi, such as the “Canary Diamond” with kampachi, plum wine gelee, truffle oil, and yuzu, or choose from numerous surf or turf items, including Black Truffle Wrapped Chillean Sea Bass and American Wagyu Kobe Strip Loin.

Steel Restaurant and Lounge
Address: 3180 Welborn St., Dallas, TX 75219 (Map)
Step below the mean streets of Dallas and enter the Asian oasis that is Steel Restaurant and Lounge. The earth-toned palette of the dining space is punctuated by bright splashes of color in the wall art that seem to mimic the finely crafted sushi rolls. Steel exhibits the best of Indochine cuisine by showcasing an impressive selection of Japanese bento boxes and sushi, traditional Vietnamese family-style soups and noodles, and Mandarin-inspired dishes. You can enjoy a cocktail or choose from the awe-inspiring selection of sake, while savoring Steel’s Signature Fried Whole Fish, or maybe the Japanese Ceviche: chopped octopus, crab, shrimp, squid and red clam.

The Oceanaire
Address: 13340 Dallas Pkwy., Dallas, TX 75240 (Map)
Modeled as a retro luxury ocean liner, the decor works the old-fashioned charm of a swanky supper club circa 1930's with the wood and nickel accents, granite paneling, and horseshoe booths. The Oceanaire Seafood Room keeps the recipes classic and the seasoning simple with favorites like Steamed mussels, Alaskian halibut, and jumbo crab cakes. With the menu changing daily depending on market availability, chicken, steaks, and pork chops are always a choice.
