[Teddy's Room - Restaurant Review
Named after our brave and enthusiastic 26th president Theodore Roosevelt, Teddy’s Room is an updated speak-easy bar and lounge with a sophisticated yet vintage-inspired interior. The connections to Roosevelt can be found in the swanky interior, including items such as a signature vintage Presidential desk, sculptural animal heads, and portraits of Theodore himself. Teddy’s also features valet parking, an outside patio, and catering options. The venue can also be rented out for private parties. With live entertainers and music nightly, as well as happy hour drink specials, Teddy’s Room is an upscale lounge that caters to the eclectic community of Dallas.

The slow descent in a glass elevator is the first indication that the experience at Dakota’s is going to be unique. The subterranean restaurant sits 18 feet below street level, with a layout that includes a recessed patio surrounded by cascading waterfalls, a fire pit, and a granite bar. Inside, French doors let in natural light, while art-deco accents and bistro-style furniture create an elegant, dreamy setting. The menu showcases premium steak and seafood, with an extensive selection of dry-aged Midwestern corn-fed USDA Prime steaks as well as premium meats including Berkshire pork, Colorado Lamb, and Scottish Salmon.

Bolla

Part of the upscale Stoneleigh Hotel in uptown Dallas, Bolla compliments the grandeur of the hotel with its posh art deco design. The simple yet elegant prix-fixe menu offers a wide range of Italian inspired American cuisine, like the Rack of Lamb served with a celery root puree, cipollini onions, and covered in an espresso rub. Not only is the food, prepared by local chef David Bull, excellent but the atmosphere of both the restaurant and full bar is terrific for after work, meeting friends, or a romantic evening for two.

Rafain Brazilian Steakhouse

Rafain has a long tradition of cultivating and evolving the traditional Brazilian Steakhouse. Founders Olimpio and Philomena started their first Churrascaria near Iguassu Falls in Brazil, in 1959. Since then they have been refining their cooking techniques and restaurant skills to present Dallas with an elegant Brazilian Steakhouse that’s also authentic. Rafain offers its diners 16 different cuts of meat prepared by authentic Gaucho chefs, as well as a gourmet salad bar with over 45 different items ranging from Tabouli salad to Brazilian Heart of Palm salad. All of these delicious dining options are presented in an elegant yet modern atmosphere, ideal for intimate dining or a night out with friends.
